Online shopping policies 

• All in store pick ups must provide ID with credit card used. 
• Shipping address must match billing address on card for items to be mailed out. 
• Please contact store for proper arrangements. 
• Items must be picked up within 48 hours of purchase.
• If there is an issue with a shipped item customer must inform us within 48 hours of arrival 

 

Pawning Policies

• Any personal property pledged to a pawnbroker is subject to sale or disposal when no payment is made after 15 days of pawn maturity date
• The pledger attests the personal property is not stolen, it has no liens or encumbrances against, the pledger has the right to pawn the property and it it is functional.
• The pledger attests they are at least 18 years of age
• In order to make a pawn two pieces of government issued photo I.D are required, it is not recommended to pawn for people who have no I.D (You accept all responsibility for pawn)
• The pledger is required with photo I.D to pick up a pawn. The pledger CAN NOT sign the pawn over to another person. 
• A pledger must be able to consent to the agreement being signed. 
• If an item is blacklisted or nonfunctional, customer will be required to pay back loan amount before future loans may be issued. 

 

Layaway Policy 

The minimum deposit on a layaway allowed is 10% of original tag price and must be paid when the layaway is signed. The length and terms of the layaway will be determined on the attached and signed agreement form. Layaway agreements do not start until both parties have signed the contract and payment has been taken. Big C Pawn will hold the described items in store until the agreed payments are made. Equal monthly payments are required in order to maintain the layaway. Accepted forms of payment are cash and card. Payment 1 (your deposit) will be due at signing and all subsequent payments will be due on the same day of each month. Once an agreement has been made the item(s) will immediately be taken off the floor and retained for the customer. As payments are made a note will be made on the layaway account which will show the payments received and the date received, the balance due and the date of the next due payment. Please keep the confirmation receipts for your records. Any layaway that has missed 2 consecutive payments or not paid in full be the end of the agreed period will once again be offered for sale to the general public, unless special arrangements have been made and approved with a Big C Pawn manager. If a layaway is cancelled for any reason the deposit (and subsequent payments) is forfeited.

 

General Policies 

• Big C Pawn reserves the right to refuse service. We have a zero tolerance policy towards harassing, threatening and belligerent behavior towards our staff members. 
• A refusal of service may also occur if pawned property is confiscated by police until such a time as the outstanding debt is paid off. 
• We do not allow reselling between customers on premesis, customers will be asked to leave to conduct business elsewhere.
